After almost 2000 hours of play, I would advise everyone against playing VRChat. My first experiences were that I had to listen to children screaming all kinds of slurs. I have never seen so much queer hostility, racism and sexism in my life as in public lobbies. After someone gave me VRC+ (VRC+ is a subscription where you get benefits), and I verified my old one (now also goes without VRC+), I was able to get in lobbies that were only available for people from 18. This was a very big upgrade. However, I also noticed that the adults were often not much better than the children. Unfortunately, I also noticed how many people who play VRChat have a strong alcohol/drug problem, which of course also leads to many unpleasant situations. Then there are the many problems with harassment of any kind. Even in private groups, there is always some kind of stress or unnecessary drama. But that's not all, the Rabbit Hole really goes infinitely deep. But also to say something positive: There are actually many great people there. I had friendships there that were really good and gave me many beautiful memories. Unfortunately, this is a rare case. To find such people you either have to be very lucky or go through absolute hell. Therefore, please never download VRChat and certainly not play!
