Drakengard2003

Drakengard 1 is rough, clunky, and often frustrating to play. The combat is repetitive, but the story is dark, twisted, and unapologetically grim (I love dark, complex stories). The characters are… insane. I thought Caim with his bloodthirst and Furiae with her extreme brother complex couldn’t get any crazier, and then Leonard and Arioch showed up and suddenly Caim and Furiae seemed almost “normal.” I’m not sure whether my overall impression of the game is good or bad, but it definitely left a strong mark on me. And i love the Drakengard " Universe" And im glad this game exists, because it opens the timeline to Nier.
