Drakengard 32013

Drakengard 3 is clunky, repetitive, and technically broken. The game is mechanically weak but narratively uncompromising, fully aware that many players will quit. Zero and the other characters are not written to be likable or relatable, but brutally honest. And I actually like them. The story is hard to follow, but it’s good, and if you stick with it, it becomes dark, powerful, and is paired with an outstanding soundtrack, just like all other Yoko Taro games. And I love the aesthetic of the game Simply put, Drakengard 3 is bad at being fun, but very good at making you feel something. (And Zero is a baddie)
