Disco Elysium: The Final Cut2021

"This is real darkness. It's not death, or war, or child molestation. Real darkness has love for a face. The first death is in the heart, (Spoiler Name)." The zenith of videogames. Redefining storytelling in the medium, unmatched in its literary depth and political grit, and a beautiful, tragic dive into the human psyche. I have to accept my fate: I will never play a better game again. Voiceacting, characters, mystery and worldbuilding simply feels too perfect to be real. In gaming my top 1 protagonist, deuteragonist, and game overall. The supernatural elements makes this so magic. Best case you don't know anything about it and just play it blindly, but prepare yourself for a looot of text. Reminded me of JoJolion in a way.
