For me, Kingdom Hearts 2 is simply this one childhood milestone that you never forget again. Gameplay (10/10): Controls awesome to this day. The shots have force, the combos go loose from the hand and the drive shapes, especially if you suddenly swirl around with two key swords, are simply addictive. In addition, the reaction commandos on triangle, which make every boss fight seem like an epic film sequence. Story & Characters: As a child, this completely carried me away. Even the melancholy beginning with Roxas in Twilight Town remains in the head. Sora, Donald and Goofy are unbeatably likeable as a trio, and Organization XIII delivers really strong, iconic villains. Music: A masterpiece. Whether the quiet piano in the starting menu (Dearly Beloved), Sanctuary or the orchestral boss themes, the songs immediately trigger goosebumps and pure nostalgia. In short: An absolute hit from my childhood, which is just as much fun even years later.
