Expedition 33 was my first turn-based game and surprised me positively. Especially the story and the soundtracks thrilled me. She is emotional, exciting and incredibly well told. The world and the characters also make the game a very good experience. An absolute highlight for me is the Parry System. It is incredibly fun and makes the fights feel exciting despite the turn-based combat system. My only criticism is that some cutscenes are, in my opinion, a little too long. All in all, a fantastic game that showed me that turn-based games can also be incredibly fun.
