Elden Ring was my very first soulsborne game and I couldn’t have wished for a better introduction to this genre. What was initially something completely new and unusual for me developed incredibly quickly into such a good perception that changed my view of games forever. But what makes Elden Ring so special for me is not only the gameplay, but above all the influence it had on me. It showed me how much joy can be a real challenge (even if you sometimes want to throw your controller out the window), how rewarding it is to stick to something, and how much depth and meaning can be in video games. Elden Ring became incredibly fast my absolute fav game of all time. Hardly any other game has personally gripped me so much. It has changed my expectations of other games forever. For me, Elden Ring is not just a masterpiece, but a game I will never forget.
