Dark Souls 3 is for me personally the best part of the entire Souls series. For me, the game finds almost the perfect balance between challenge and fairness. The level of difficulty is demanding, but just right to motivate you again and again, to learn from mistakes and to face every new challenge. Of particular note is the fantastic combat system, the varied boss fights and the dark, atmospheric dark fantasy setting. FromSoftware has proven once again how fantastic they can create worlds. With increasing experience, the game loses part of its original difficulty, but offers more opportunities to set new challenges for itself. Through different builds, game styles and self-imposed challenges, the difficulty level can be designed almost arbitrarily and the replay value can be increased enormously. For me personally, the PvP system is not one of the great strengths of the game and plays a more supporting role. Nevertheless, the enormous variety of possible builds and ways of playing deserves a mention, especially in PvP. Dark Souls 3 is for me the complete package that always draws you back to the Bonfire. An outstanding action RPG and my personal favorite of the entire series.
