What should I say? Where to start. My experience with the Final Fantasy series includes many hours of play in all Final Fantasy parts. For me, part 10 is unmatched to this day. This does not change with FF Resonance either, BUT just behind me comes this masterpiece. I'll start with the graphics. The 2d/3d Pixellook will not suit everyone’s taste, but I find it loving and beautifully designed. The animations, the art design, and the many small details result in an insanely beautiful overall picture which immediately draws you into this world. For me, the story is actually the best of the series. Emotional, well traceable and peppered with twists, surprises and goosebump moments. Here, an emotional gaming cinema of the extra class is offered. The soundtrack and the sound accompaniment are wonderfully epic. Now we come to gameplay. This combat system can be explained simply with Back to Roots. And it impressively shows that this combat system is still up-to-date and can be a lot of fun. In addition, the system with the visions leaves a lot of room for crafting different builds. In conclusion, Final Fantasy Resonance is a masterpiece that unfolds its full potential over the course of the outstanding campaign. The likeable characters, the great written dialogues, and the fantastic worldbuilding immediately draw you into this world and do not let you go. Great cinema!!
