If you can do something with Sekiro, Onimusha or Wukong, you will get your money's worth with Phantom Blade Zero! The game is an absolute action fireworks display and delivers some of the most spectacular boss fights and impressive combat animations the genre has to offer. Although there is still some air for the exploration and the progression system, and the game time should have been a few hours shorter. But all these criticisms pale in the face of the incredible fun and the countless moments when you just sit in front of the screen in amazement. Phantom Blade Zero may not be perfect, but it’s a fucking horny action game and one of the best games of the year for me!
