First of all, I hated the first part. For me, it was one of the worst soul likes I ever gambled. Accordingly, I was skeptical about Part 2, but still wanted to give the game a chance. To my surprise, I was not disappointed. I was honestly expecting the worst, but the developers have shown that they are very keen on developing a good game. I especially liked the shell mechanic and brings a nice change to the gameplay. The many different weapons also offer a lot of possibilities and ensure that you can always try new things. What I have to complain about, however, is that the movements and animations become quite clunky in many situations, especially with the bosses. Even the boss quality does not quite reach the level of strong competition for me. In fact, in the end, only three bosses really stayed in my head. All in all, however, it is a strong step in the right direction. The developers have shown that they can do better, and if a third part appears, I’m pretty sure it could play at the top.
