I’ve never played a 3D Sonic game before, but I’ve often heard of the series’ flopped games. Well, I went in without expectations, and I was kind of disappointed. The story was so damn boring and untelevant and that’s not even the biggest negative point. Because that’s the chilling horrible look of the game, because Sonic just doesn’t fit into this world. It’s even worse with these horrible giant robots and the parkour “rails” that just stand somewhere in the game world or just float in the air. Of course, the game has good sides, of which there are unfortunately not so many. An example of this would be the Skill Tree, it is very fun to unlock new attacks or movement options and to become noticeably better and better. Nevertheless, this game simply did not succeed and is worth looking into.
