Marvel's Spider-Man2018

Review: 8.4/10 Marvel’s Spider-man was the reason I bought a PS4 in 2018 just to play this game. I think Insomniac has created something that no other studio has done before: it really feels like playing Spider-man. The game has many strengths, but the most sticks out here gameplay and story. The story has a good mix of characters you already knew from the live action movies such as Vulture and Rhino, but also characters you did not know from the movies, such as Mr. Negative or Scorpion. The story here really feels like it’s own comic book story and that makes it so good. The gameplay plays smoothly and there are different gadgets that make it varied, but it can become monotonous at a certain point. Swinging through New York feels fluid and good. The stealth system is okay, but in my opinion it does not come to other games, such as the Arkham Games. The biggest criticism point in the gameplay are the MJ missions, they often feel simply unnecessary and as if the game was not actually intended for it, the second part implements them much better. Even if the music is not great, I find especially the music in the title screen and in the laboratory very nice. Platinum rating: Difficulty: 2-3/10 Time: 30-50h The platinum is super light, play through the main story, do all the side missions, collect all the collectibles and a few random trophies. The only repetitive is the crimes you have to complete in each district. For the 100% also 3 story DLCS are added, which are all in order and have a similar structure as the main game.
